What do I need to make a grooming appointment?

You will need to make sure you're up to date on all your vaccines (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella).

What if I don't like being groomed and give the groomer a hard time?

Our experienced groomers will work at a pace that you are comfortable with. During your grooming process, our groomers are there to keep you calm and ensure that you have a good experience.

Will I be able to be groomed if I need some sort of relaxation medication?

We do not groom fully sedated pets; however, we do realize that some pets need some medication prescribed by their vet to help them relax. Have your parent bring your medication with you. We will administer it close to your groom time.

Can I play with other dogs while I'm waiting to be groomed?

Yes! Our kennel staff will introduce you into a playgroup that best fits your personality and size. This will help you get some energy out before your time in the Paw Spa.

What if my parents aren't happy with my haircut?

Accepted Answer

Our number one priority is to make sure that you have a good experience and that your parents love your new haircut. However, if it isn’t quite what they had in mind, we ask that they please let us know. Our groomers are more than happy to fix any issues upon pick-up. If you get home and your parents notice something they would like done differently, they can call us and we will either schedule a day for you to come in and get touched up, or make a note in your file to ensure that next time we get your cut exactly the way you all want it.
